Chamonix

Super hot here again today in Chamonix, but still some great conditions high up, although the snow's changing fast.
We traversed the Vallee' Blanche & then climbed the North Face of the Tour Ronde yesterday.

We had a great panorama of the Tour Ronde, Mt Blanc & Mt Blanc du Tacul as we crossed the Vallee' Blanche on the Helbrunner Lift back to L'Aiguille du Midi & Chamonix

Take care though, as the snow high up is still in the middle of a transitional phase from the heavy fall from only a few weeks ago, going through the super warm spell we're seeing at the moment, before it cleans up & transforms. Some wet snow slides & soft unconsolidated snow is still catching folk out on routes. Although the change here is fast if this warm spell continues.
